E+I Engineering were commissioned to engineer a complete power distribution and monitoring system for the first construction phase of Northern Irelands first carrier neutral Tier III colocation data centre.
Working closely with Antrim Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (contractor) and the Scotch Partners (consultant), the team at E+I Engineering engineered, manufactured and commissioned the full MV-LV solution, as well as the busbar and energy management system.
Located within the Atlantic Link Enterprise Campus, this the Five Nines 45,000 sq.ft data centre technical space provides super-efficient and exceptionally resilient, high security data storage with super connectivity across the Atlantic.
The client required a reliable and flexible power distribution network to provide tenants with an efficient service tailored to their individual needs. Extensive metering capabilities were also required to manage tenant billing and capacity. Space restrictions required a bespoke and strategic solution to accommodate the quantity of power infrastructure required for the project.
